The HIV/AIDS testing services (HTS) is a critical entry point for all HIV/AIDS prevention and care services. Under this project, HTS is provided by both ACHAP, Tebelopele Voluntary Counselling and Testing Centres (TVCTC) and BOCAIP as sub recipients. TVCTC is a local registered NGO that provides free and confidential voluntary HIV counselling and testing services across the country with support from PEPFAR. BOCAIP, is a faith based NGO which mobilises and coordinates the Christian community to make an impact by implementing HIV related behavioural change interventions, products and services. ACHAP also provides HTS under the ambit of the VMMC project. All males undergoing VMMC are offered HTC services with opportunity to opt out.
TVCTC and BOCAIP provide HTS in all the 10 Global Fund focused districts of Francistown, Letlhakeng, Hukuntsi, Palapye, Serowe, Boteti Selibe Phikwe, Ngamiland, Okavango and Tutume. TVCTC also provides HTS as part of the female sex workers and men who have sex with men and transgenders modules implemented by TVCTC and BONELA respectively.
